Total Health Care Inc. Announces New CEO

The Board of Directors of Total Health Care, Inc. has selected Faye Royale-Larkins as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Total Health Care, Inc. Mrs. Larkins’ selection followed the conclusion of a national search by the Total Health Care, Inc. Board of Directors. According to Total Health Care, Inc. Chairman of the Board Kimber Luckey, “Mrs. Larkins’ will join Total Health Care  on July 2nd , succeeding CEO Dennis Cherot who resigned in December 2012. Mrs. Larkins will be the first female appointed to serve as CEO for Total Health Care, Inc.  Her extensive experience made her an ideal candidate to lead Total Health Care in our ever-changing and challenging health care environment.”

Total Health Care Opens a New Site: Washington Village Health Center

On October 1, Total Health Care, Inc. closed its site located at the Bon Secours Family Care Center, 2000 W. Baltimore Street, Baltimore, MD and relocated its services to the Washington Village Medical Center, 700 Washington Blvd, Baltimore, MD.  We are excited with the relocation, as it affords Total Health Care to expand its health services and provide a better environment for both staff and patients.  At this new location, Total Health Care will provide pediatric and adult primary care services, behavioral and mental health, Ob/Gyn, HIV rapid testing and nutrition services.  Total Health Care celebrated the opening of the Washington Village site on Saturday, October 22 by hosting a community open house, which included fun activities and health screenings.

Facts & Data

Total Health Care, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) funded in part by Local, State, and Government agencies. It is minority-operated and tax-exempt. This FQHC is the product of the 1989 merger of two primary health-care organizations: the Constant Care Community Health Center, Inc. (founded in 1968) and the West Baltimore Community Health Care Corporation (founded in 1972). Total Health Care is contracted as a provider to five MCOs: Maryland Physicians’ Care, AmeriGroup, United HealthCare, Priority Partners, and Coventry.
